How to get navigat in a side widget

Hello,

I’m trying to create a side menu that is actually navigation. I’ve created a new navigation file under appearance /menus and have named it side navigation.

I’ve also created a new widget called side navigation but I can’t figure out how to get the new side navigation I’ve created into this widget.

I know I”m missing something…can you point me in the right direction?

Hello, at widgets, add the custom menu widget and select your menu there 🙂
