Hey KLEO,
I’ve been looking to find a solution to hiding the date of my posts from the SERPs. I don’t mean from within the post itself, I use visual composer for posts and it doesn’t have the option of putting author, category or date anyways (this is pretty annoying by the way)
I see that sometimes when I search in google, some of the results don’t have a date and I hear that it helps with click through rate as people don’t immediately judge it if it’s a bit old.
I found a plugin called WP Old Post Date Remover but it apparently only works for the date on the post page itself.
After some searching I found some blogs that offered some code to put in the Editor that claims to be a solution, but it seems to be theme specific and they recommend backing up the theme before trying. Sounds dangerous to me.
Do you guys have a solution to this?
