How to keep translation after a theme updtate

Hello

I did a theme update and i lost my french translation.
To keep it after a translation.
I have to put a languages folfer in the kleo child theme, and put the french translation here ?

Put the translation in the directory wp-content/languages/themes using the file name kleo_framework-xx_XX
