How to make a transparent border to my header menu

Ive got the outline of the header that has to be a certain color but I have an image as the backdrop. Is there anyway of making this border transparent? Thanks

Yes, the main part I need changed is in this photo. When I change the menu border it changes the whole thing, the part in your photo and in mine. My problem is that I have an image for a background and at the bottom of the menu it looks messy. Do you have a solution?

It’s the vague grey line between the white separator and the posts. It’s difficult to see because I made it the least noticable as possible, but I can still notice it.
