Hi,
How can I make Facebook use a custom thumbnail image when users share my site? Currently, it’s calling the home page sliders. How can I set a few custom thumbnail images for the user to select?
Thanks!
January 10, 2014 at 11:57 #9498AbeKeymasterHello, You can use this plugin that takes the featured image set

For some reason Kleo is the only site I have used for clients that doesn’t pull the featured image when posting to Facebook…
Any ideas?
Thanks!
June 26, 2014 at 01:05 #20934AbeKeymasterHave you looked at a page to see if those meta tags really generate?

June 27, 2014 at 21:23 #21191rkcoParticipantSlowly but surely the thumbnails are coming up for Facebook…weird.
Nextscript Autoposter settings and FB Comment setting might be worth checking out…
July 1, 2014 at 01:13 #21346AbeKeymasterI am glad you found a plugin to get the job done. Also the plugins will get the featured image from posts and on some pages there probably won’t be an image to get

Inferred Property The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Parser Mismatched Metadata The parser’s result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input properties that were not seen in the parsed result: ‘fb:admins’September 5, 2015 at 02:41 #76253andresvernazzaParticipantKleo theme is very bad for facebook. it overrides the OG code I guess
September 5, 2015 at 03:32 #76254AndreiModeratorPlease understand that adding the OG tags is not meant to be done by a theme, not ours not any other, this kind of this are managed very well by plugins like Yoast SEO and not only.
So before making such a statement please be sure you know what you’re talking about.
Cheers

I know your theme is not supposed to manage OG tags, but I’m 100% sure it is not compatible in some aspect with most plugins that manage this tags.
I already installed and removed 3 to see if it fixed the issue but no.
SEO by Yoast
Facebook Like Thumbnail
and Facebook Featured Image and Open Graph Meta TagsNONE OF THEM WORK
September 5, 2015 at 10:08 #76271AbeKeymasterHi there, we are using WordPress Seo and the image tag is generated. You shoud check the page source code and see if the meta tag is there. Also check the plugin settings and make sure the page you are testing has a featured image or also from the page edit – WordPress Seo section you can set a custom Facebook image

In order to inspect your changes as you make them please use the following inspect tool: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ so be sure that your og tags are in place or not.
