How to provide option to create a topic in forum

hi i just installed your theme , but  please note that i cant find an option through which a user can post a topic on forum and how i can provide a provision to the user to create a group .

Hello, at Settings – Buddypress – Options you can allow them to create groups
For forums you need to change the use ROLE at Users – Edit user

Hi thank you for your replay , i asking you how i can provide a option in the ui to users to
1) create a group
2) to create a forum topic

int he present model there is no menu or option in the ui(user interface ) to do the above mentioned actions .Admin is able to create new forums and new forum topics form admin dashboard ,there should be an option for the general user to create a forum topic and tis should go through admin moderation this is the procedure , how i can achieve the same .

Hello, at their profile buddypress doesnt include it, but its at the groups directory page, its something we didnt add or delete because comes like that with buddypress plugin

what is group directory page , how i can provide provision to my user to create groups , there is no option in thier dashboard to create groups and to create new topics !!!!!

refer the above image , if my users are not able to creat a new forum topic what is the purpose of forum in this theme !.

Hello, go to settings – buddypress – pages and make sure you have the group page selected, that page is the group directory where you can find the create a group button.

For the forum go to your website yourwebsite.com/forums to find the forum directory, while users can’t add forums they can create topic inside your forums. You can create forums for them at WordPress dashboard, you need to have the plug-in bbpress activated
