How to refresh only a part of page

Hi,

how can i do for recharge only a part of my user perfil, when click, for example, first click photos and then click friends, and when click friends only recharge this part and not all the page.

In my site, the users profile is recharged completely whenever I happen from a section to other one. For example, if I go on from the section “friends” to the section “Activity”, the whole page is recharged, then what desire is that alone this specific part is loaded it.
So i want to know how can i fix this issue.
