How to set up a BP members carousel displaying only profiles that have images?

Hi there,

We’re wondering how one could set up a members carousel in Kleo that only displays those profiles which have images associated with them?

I doubt there is any way to filter the bp_has_members function to filter out profiles without avatars, from a parameter standpoint. You can ask on their forum.

If there is no way to filter it, then you can customize the /k-element/shortcode/templates/buddypress/kleo_bp_members.php file to grab a list of users that have an avatar set, then pass their userids to the bp_has_members function that is used there.

Do a google search on how to add a default avatar if you haven’t already. You can add something better than the grey face or the gravatar avatars.
