Hi there,
I’m having trouble setting up the knowledge base like it is in the buddyapp theme preview. Could you show me how to set it up please.
Thanks,
Matt

Go to pages, create new page named KB or as you wish then paste this shortcode into it
[kb_post_wall]
Set page template full width and that’s all.
Then add posts and categories to KB from wp-admin -> Knowledgebase
Cheers

Thanks heaps for that.
One last thing, on the KB page one of the categories is getting bumped down for some reason (http://members.tehe.co.nz/knowledge-base/). How do I fix this?
August 24, 2016 at 17:42 #133692RaduModeratorI cannot see the category bumped down, screenshot pls ?
Cheers

Thanks for that. One more question: is there a way to make the KB articles appear in alphabetical order rather than latest first?
September 5, 2016 at 19:57 #135024RaduModeratorHi,
It’s possible but that it’s not a quick solution… leave ftp and admin credentials and these days i will do that for you

I’m struggling to get the Knowledge Base to break out articles by category. I have a feeling it has to do with my permalinks structure.
I have a blog that requires I setup a custom permalink like this:
/the-scroll/%category%/%postname%That works fine but breaks the knowledge base.
I was hoping to setup the Knowledge Base permalink structure under the “Optional” permalink field as follows:
Category base: kb/%category%
Tag base: %postname%Am I going about this all the wrong way? Could you please help me?
Best,
Garett
January 17, 2017 at 17:32 #149997RaduModeratorCan you confirm if the permalink structure breaks that ?!
Using default permalink setting will work ?
Provide the admin credentials in a private reply to take a look
Cheers
