How to use Sweet Date

Hi.
I´m new here and don´t have many experience with Websites. I purchased Sweet Date a couple of months ago, but now I´m on vacation and want to learn more about it. So my questions are?
I downloaded two archieves and want to know which is the real one to use. Which program(s) are necessary to view, modify and test before publishing Sweet Date?
What can be modified and what isn´t possible to change?
I hope to receive any help.

look in the archives for setup, it’s a html file in documentation called index.html it has a video and most of the info you need!

Thanks. I found it and started watching the video.
But there is another question.
I have downloaded WordPress 4.2. Must I install wordpress 4.2 on my local machine and start installing Sweet Date, or is it necessary to install WordPress on a Hoster like hostgator?
