How update permalinks for Groups & Forums?

Hi – When I change the name of one of the demo content groups or forums and then save it, the permalink does not change. How do I update the permalink?

Hello, this could work for groups -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-edit-group-slug/ but i do not suggest it as it could create issues with links.

For forums its not allowed, you would need to edit the database, which is not an option also
The solution would be to create a new group/forum

Thank you Laura. What do you think about this plugin? This is more actively updated. Would this work and not cause problems? I realize you can’t guarantee anything about a third party plugin, but any thoughts you might have would be appreciated! 🙂
