Hpw to change meta description?

Hi, how can I change the meta description of a post / page? Can this be overridden in the child theme functions.php file?

Hello, what do you mean by meta description?
You can change seo related meta using yoast seo plugin for example
But the post / page meta are categories , tags etc

Yes, I am referring to the meta description in the head tag. How can I change this without using a plugin? Where in the Kleo theme code is this set?

Hello, i do suggest to use yoast seo for this, because as this is php you cannot change everything as it changes dynamically all the time
