HUGE BUG in profile fields

There’s a big bug with Profile fields.

I translate and delete all empty groups.

I click “Import buddy press profile fields” and SUDDENLY
Search form customisation has so huge amount of fields

…. and all these already deleted Profile Field groups appears again!

This makes it impossible to make rational sign-up page. And because of this, search does not work properly… there’s countless problems because of this.

How to fix?

Hi. I had the same thing but found out that it was due to the fact that other browser windows were open with the user profile fields pages. That messed things up. Things worked fine again when I only had one browser window open of that same page. I am not sure it’s the same with you, but you could try…
