Hi, I replaced the images in the carousel on dexterlist.com and deleted the old images, but still I see 2 old images instead of the new ones on the page. Why to the old images still appear if I deleted them from the Media library?
Second question, I want to add a title under each image in the carousel, is that possible and how can I do that? The previous suggestion in the forum, to add a text element under the image doesn’t work, because the images are in the carousel. Please advise!
Thank you!

June 5, 2015 at 18:45 #61177RaduModeratorHello,
About first question, it’s possible caused by caching, try to clear your cache and see after if it works.
About the second question, there are no out of the box options to achieve this right now but we will take it into consideration.
Cheers

Is there another method to make the old images disappear?

The GoDaddy support told me that they save the cache and they have an integrated option to flush cache (which didn’t work on my page) so I don’t have to install another plugin. They said it takes time (around 24h) until the changes are visible on the online site. However it has been more than 24h and the old images are still there. I looked in the folders via FTP and there are 4 or 5 versions of the same image that was uploaded in the media library, among them also the old images which don’t appear in the library anymore via Dashboard. How about I delete those old images from the folders via FTP? Would that solve the problem or cause more things to break?

http://dexterlist.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Artists.jpg – new imageBecause of this images should be regenerated, but if you don’t want ..ok.
Try to upload the new images with other name like Artists1 the file name don’t needs to be identically
