since upgrading to the new version, I can no longer add photos to wall posts or forum posts. I can’t understand why it’s disappeared. I’ve gone in to the RT Media settings and have all the correct items switched on. Could you help me please?? website is http://mediamakeup.today

Actually, it’s far worse than I first thought. I can’t post any activity updates at all!! I’ve tried deactivating all plugins I think could have caused this but none have worked. I’ve read this post on wordpress.org (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-buddypress-cant-post-update-in-activity-stream) which is my exact issue but the solution doesn’t seem relevant to the Kleo theme. The problem I have is that the js script which expands the following css and adds height doesn’t seem to be working when I click into the field:

#buddypress #whats-new-options {
height:0px;
overflow: hidden;
}

I guess I can override this css for now?

How do I add the upload file feature to the forum posts though??

I’ve managed to sort this out by overriding the css. I no longer have the fancy auto-expand feature though 🙁

I’ve also installed the correct plugin to get the forum uploads working. I appreciate your attempt at “rubber duck” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck_debugging) support but would be good if I didn’t have to drive myself nuts trying to work out these issues by myself! I’m going to start up a separate thread on this but, if my website takes off, I would pay for better support!

Hi there, sorry for the late reply. This isn’t a general rule but sometimes it happens to have some small delays in response.

I am glad to hear you have solved it. I have looked at the activity uploading problem and it seems to happen with the latest rtMedia update.

The upload media functionality in the forums is achieved with this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/gd-bbpress-attachments/

Also regarding to the activity you probably haven’t activated that option to enable uploads from the activity stream, see the attach
