IMPORTANT: WordPress 4.4 will BREAK Taxonomy Metadata

As you all hopefully know, Kleo relies on the following plugin:
Taxonomy Metadata

Wordpress 4.4 is just about to be released, and it will BREAK the above plugin, according to the following:

Is Seventh Queen going to prevent this from breaking KLEO, and if so, what version of Kleo will account for this change and prevent breaking because of the incompatibility of the above plugin with WP 4.4?

Hi there, we have notified the plugin author to make a version compatible with WP 4.4 and you will probably need to rely on the WP 4.4 core.
That plugin should only be used if you want to have a custom header to your woocommerce shop categories, otherwise you don’t need it.

Ans where exactly could I have deduced your answer from, including location in the Kleo documentation? Users shouldn’t have to guess.
