hello

i would like people who create a group to add a bigger description of their group with text and pictures

i tried this but it does not work for me, it would be difficult for my members to get used to it, I need something similar to the activity where you can add text and picture.

1 – do you have anything to suggest me that includes text and pictures and is easy for people to understand how it works?

2 – it could be resolved if there is a way for activity posts to be pinned, so they could create a post there and pin it to top — can this be done?

 

anything else you might know from your experience please share

also another way would be group admins to post in activity and members to be able only to comment on activity and not create new posts
but i have no idea if this is doable

Hello, that is not available right now at buddypress, the group description images and uses only able to comment. But maybe a developer could do it for you
