Initial set up – menu options

Hello,

I’m doing the initial set up and I can’t get my top menu to look like the one in the demo. See attached screenshot of my menu – I would like this to be the same as in the demo. My top menu has a black background that I want to get rid of; and the words “please select your page” and the sweet date 4u logo above the menu that I also want to get rid of. I can’t figure out how to make these changes – please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Hello, it is really weird, did you try deactivating some plugins and testing again? Somehow something added that to your menu as it doesnt come with the theme

Thanks Laura. I did try that, but no luck. I’ve now deleted everything and re-installed it, and now things are working fine.
