Install Failed: "No style.css" file in zip. Please send this file thanks!

I’ve just tried to install the zip file through the wordpress installer, and I received a message that the install failed because there is no “style.css” file in the zipped folder. I did unzip the file to check, and there is no “style.css” file in the “css” folder. Please send me email with the “style.css” link to download the file. Thanks!

I suggest you delete that installation through ftp. And transfer a new one to the theme directory on your ftp.

Thanks, but before I do that let me show you the “css” files in the folder:
animation.css
fontello-codes.css
fontello-embeded.css
fontello-ie7-codes.css
fontello-ie7.css
fontello.css (is this the “style.css” css file?, or is it missing from the folder?)

Those are for fontello, the icons. It’s possible that it’s the theme style.css. I suggest you download the zip file from themeforest again and extract it and tranfers it to your ftp. I have never had such problem before..

Hi, that happens because you are uploading the main package from themeforest but you need to extract it first on your computer and you will see the theme in WordPress folder

You don’t need to upload it by FTP and just follow the video tutorial or theme documentation. Extract the main file downloaded from THemeforest and you’ll see a WordPress folder with the theme kleo.zip archive
