The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
trying to install kleo.
unziped file, started with kleo and returned the following error.
When downloading from theme forrest theres a choice for installable wordpress files only.
I ahve tried this one, but does not appear kleo child theme under themes…
pls help
You need to extract the theme forest download to your computer. Once extracted the kleo.zip and kleo-child.zip files will be in there. If this is your first time installing, you need to install the full download to get everything you need.

Indeed is a brand new wp and Im pretty new at it as well. So I followed the steps on you video tutorial (guessing the blurs) and gave me the error I sent before.
Installed the zip file containing only installable files (themeforest option) and vouila! there it is.
although…there is no child…just kleo.
Have things changed since your video and theres no need to install both folders anymore…

Download the full install. Extract it. Within there you’ll find the kleo.zip file and the kleo-child.zip file in the wordpress folder. And as an added bonus, it will have the install doc 🙂
I dont know about the video. Honestly, I’ve never watched it. Ooops.

Thats exactly what I did, which fyi, its what the video shows 🙂 … unziped full folder and upload first kleo (error), so later child and plugins afterwards… that way I still have the same error
hard to believe something so simple could be giving me such a hard time.
did I mention I ve succeed instaling the zip with only installable files from TF whith no child zip… cause I did…do I need the child theme dear sharmstr…
Wait. If you already have kleo installed using the installable files from TF, then you dont need to install kleo.zip. Only kleo-child.zip.
You’re confusing me. LOL.
If you still have problems, respond privately with link and credentials. After a year of installing Kleo, I can do with one hand tied behind my back. 😀
