ioncube loader needed to run Kleo properly？

Hi I am switching my server and have to set up everything again. I need to know if I HAVE to install ioncube loader for Kleo or maybe something else that doesn’t exist on a managed server.

but is IONCUBE LOADER slowing down KLEO or is there any negative effect ?

Do I have to remove it or it doesn’t matter ?

We do not use any encrypted code and all code is open source so probably not loading that extension will help the server
