I am not able to change the template at all for the forum. I assume I will need to download a plugin or template for it? Anything I change doesnt seem to change the overall look out the the forum.
This will be crucial for my website, will I have to hire a coder to change this section for me?
Any help is greatly apprecaite thank you.
June 25, 2015 at 20:32 #64949sharmstrModeratorIt would help if you gave us some info on what you tried that didnt work. You can either change with custom css or by editing the template files. Kleo overrides some of the standard bbpress template files, so you’ll have to look in two locations.
bbpress standard template files: /plugins/bbpress/templates
kleo overrides: /themes/kleo/bbpress/All of your changes should be in /themes/kleo-child/bbpress/

June 25, 2015 at 20:38 #64950drewiaconaParticipantWell I am brand new to something like this. I have built other normal blogs with wordpress and a few diff marketing websites.
What I am trying to do is have a header layed out at the top under the menu bar.
Also wondering how to get maybe the left and right sidebar options in there.
Is there specific templates I can look at in order to change the over all look?
Still pretty novice with something like this but I am working on figuring it out.
June 25, 2015 at 20:54 #64951sharmstrModeratorYou should spend some time getting to know bbpress: https://codex.bbpress.org/step-by-step-guide-to-setting-up-a-bbpress-forum-part-2/
You can always search this forum. There are several topics about bbpress styling.
There are several template files you can look at. See my first response.
You can customize the sidebar layout in theme options > bbpress
You can use this code for the header: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/shortcode-on-bbpress-forum Just change do_shortcode with a link to your image.
