If I set the search results to Newest registered, then the search result only shows the first page of the newest registered.

If I proceed to page 2 it shows “Last active” again.

    Hi,

I see that if you activate parent theme the issue disappears, the issue it’s from child theme.

VIDEO with parent theme : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a5olLDbzDI1hgnloXJvaWiadwp5r4lO7/view

On our demo not happens on your case it’s a template from child or something like members.php or members-loop.php

    Cheers

So that it’s by default, if you are using any caching and optimization that moves the JS to footer or something set them OFF and purge cache then check again, actually disable all plugins except buddypress purge/empty caches from all. De-activate also the child theme to test.

See the live behaviour in demo : https://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/members/

WP Fastest Catching plugin was deaktivate.

When the child theme is deactivated it works

Check in plugin settings, to not moving the javascript to footer and to not over optimize like to minify things twice. IF you have minificationa and optimization from theme options -> performance and speed -> set off and use only the optimization from plugin.
