Issues with plugin visual composer

Hello,

1-The visual composer plugin shows needs update even after updating.

2-When I click on plugin it brings me to the welcome window of visual composer.

Extension de cache avancée. Inactif : Requiert la constance define('WP_CACHE', true); dans le fichier wp-config.php.

Dont have a caching plugin installed on my wordpress.

Can you help me with those issues and explain why this is happening?

Unlike the video the plugins were not showing in my plugin tabs.

Hi,

To make sure you are running latest Visual composer available in theme, go to wp-admin -> plugins, de-activate and delete the visual composer, then go to wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins -> install it again, also update updated plugins that have update notification.

The define cache it’s directly a constant from wordpress https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Cache

Thanks for the help concerning Visual Composer, it worked.

1- WPBakery Éditeur : what about that one, is it connected to the Kleo Theme and the Visual Composer plugin? Do I need this plugin?

2- Transcoder plugin: Im not certain what to do with this plugin, it is asking me to install… is it necessary? Is it necessary for the theme?

3- API key : I activated my Envato API Connection and plugin, loaded the Key into the theme but I still have a bar on theme option for the Theme update.

Hi,

1. IF you had used visual composer (the visual interface for building blocks and adding modules) you need to keep it…. if not no (if you are not sure you can de-avtivate and look at the site pages if it’s messed re-activated it they look normal leave it de-activated.)

2. Not sure depends by your needs, transcoder plugin seems to be “Audio and video transcoding services for any WordPress website!”

3. Envato changed their update mechanism, the new way here of updates will be maden trough their plugin. : https://archived.seventhqueen.com/general/article/update-themes-automatically-using-envato-market-plugin

Hello,

Iv installed the Envato Plugin added token to plugin, I can see my purchased item the Kleo Theme. Works Fine.

Nest went to Kleo Theme Options for UPDATES. Went to ThemeForest Account, Generated a new KEY, placed it in the Kleo Theme Options API KEY and There is still a bar in front of it.

Question : Why do I still have a bar on my theme option update?

Under theme options you should remove all keys sine that section it’s deprecated since the envato wants updates through the envato marketplace plugin.

Hello,

If I understand well, that section ‘Theme Updates’ is not used anymore. All I need to do is to connect with Envato plugin to receive Kleo Theme and plugin Updates.
