Javascript code field

Hi,

This topic is in regards to this post:

I have a couple of questions first so that I don’t mess things up.

1. “Then go to Theme Options > General Settings, paste the follow code into the JavaScript code field.” <<<< Is this part supposed to not be in the child theme?

2. Then in your child theme’s functions.php file, add this<<<< I am under the impression that I can add this part at the bottom of the file, correct?

3. The “Javascript code field” is the Analytics code box? That is the only place that I see a place to any code.
