Just icons not texts

I would like to change all text elements under post update box and before  the activities list to just icons to mimic app like look and save space.

Like so;

Post in: my profile,  just an icon       Post in: my group, just an icon with group name show when clicked

All members, don’t show    my groups, just an icon  my favorite, just an icon  mentions, just an icon

How can I accomplish  this?
