KLEO – Double BuddyPress Activit Posts, Registration Form Customization

Hello,

I have been experiencing an issue on the Activity page of the theme where new Buddypress registrations are being double posted. Is there a way to fix this?

Additionally, where can i edit/customize the registration page so I have a clean layout and specific fields? I saw in each DEMO there was a nice registration page, but cannot find the documentation to assist me/

Hello, please check if you have a cache plugin active, this could be the problem with double posting, if not, try to deactivate some plugins and check again.
For registration, you can add any field you want to Users – Profile fields, BASE group is where register fields are stored

Hi,

– Try to update the theme to latest version.
– Did you had rewritten some buddypress files in child theme ? if yes that may be the cause.
– Try to switch the child theme to parent theme and test then if the issue continue to happens.

For the registration form ( [kleo_register] shortcode ) that’s right now on your homepage contains only those fields by default and there it’s no place where you can build the forms.

If you really need to add/edit fields/functionality here is responsible file : wp-content/plugins/k-elements/shortcodes/templates/kleo_register.php but you will need to know some PHP and html, if you will rewrite that file you should copy it to wp-content/themes/kleo-child/k_elements to can have the functionality that you need over the theme update.
