kleo new ticker

I have a wp site with Kleo theme and kleo news ticker. It is setup to show posts…I have some hacker user who keeps adding posts that show up in the ticker…how can I stop users from adding posts to my page.

Ticker comes from news magazine demo …

When you have these unknown posts appear in the news ticker, do they also appear in your posts page on the backend and/or frontend? Or do they exclusively appear in the news ticker?

Yes they also appear in the posts on the backend…
ie if you go to posts they are all there mixed in with my posts…
I can go in and remove them but he posts others each week.

I want to only allow admin to post posts…and block users adding posts…

Hi Greg,

In that case the news ticker is not the issue as it’s simply displaying the posts available. It sounds like your site is compromised in some way either through and old plugin or a malicious attack that is moving sideways through your hosting. Try installing WordFence or Sucuri and running a scan to detect any issues.
