Hi there,
I already searched the forum but did not find anything about this issue.
I am using both, the Kleo recent post widget and the Kleo post carousel on my website http://mcprezi.com. The problem with both is, that they do not differentiate languages on my website. So they show up the blogposts in all languages I am using (german and english). But what I want is, that on the english pages only the english blogposts are shown and on the german on the german blogpost should appear.
How can I fix that?
Thanks and regards,

November 20, 2015 at 09:30 #88260mcsinnParticipantThanks Laura, but I do not want to install more plugins – I want the theme to work how it should!
November 20, 2015 at 09:37 #88261mcsinnParticipantOh sorry Laura! You did not understand, what the problem is in that case.
The problem is not, that I do not have a language switcher, the problem is, that the blog posts show up in the wrong language, which is an issue within the widgets itself. When I use the standard wordpress widget for “latest posts” it works.
To make the issue clear again I will try to explain it once again. When I am on my german language homepage, the widget with the “recent posts” (which is located in 4th of the footer) should only show german blog posts, right? But it doesn’t. It also shows the english blog post! But it shouldn’t! When I click on Blog – bringing me to the main page of the german blog – everything is fine. Only the german posts are shown. So, the problem is within the “Kleo recent posts” widget! And the same issue is true for the “Kleo post caroussel”.
How can I fix that???

November 23, 2015 at 20:28 #88675mcsinnParticipantOkay, and what does this mean for me now? I have not heard back from the “higher support level” since more than 2 days?
November 24, 2015 at 00:13 #88705AndreiModeratorHello, sorry for the delay, tomorrow I’ll be able to give a look into your issue and I’ll be back with more details.
Thank you for your understanding.

If it takes you 7 days to get the chance to look into an issue, that’s not really what a good support looks like. Neither the response time nore the response quality is near to being okay.
November 24, 2015 at 16:28 #88779AndreiModeratorHi,
I have made an extended test and founded a small issue just in the Kleo Recent Posts widget, the carousel or any other visual composer element worked just fine, also please be sure you keep with the latest versions of the WPML plugins and visual composer.
You will have to replace the following file: “wp-content/themes/kleo/lib/widgets/recent_posts.php” with the one that you can find in the attached archive below.
Once again, I’m sorry for the delay and thank you very much for reporting this because it helped us fix it for others as well.
Version 3.1.2 of Kleo was already published before I could make this tweak so please firstly update the theme to 3.1.2 and after that apply the patched file. This small tweak will automatically be merged into 3.1.3 version.
Cheers
