KLEO update a disaster

I’ve spent most of the day trying to install the update. I couldn’t get the update-core.php to run so I installed manually (twice). Still can’t get the js_composer.zip to install manually or the k-elements to install automatically through the plug-ins page. I can select the zip file, then when I install I go to a blank page and nothing happens.

Revolution slider installed from the plugin setting as instructed.

Now I’m stuck and my home page is a mess because I can’t install Visual Composer – or k-elements. All the php seems to execute like it’s stuck in mud.

HELP – what am I missing here?

Ok, so maybe I panicked. I’m not a developer, just a regular guy probably trying to do more than I should be. I updated everything manually, including plugins (apparently correctly) and things seem back to normal. (Fingers crossed.)

K-elements should update from the Plugins page where a link to update should appear.
Visual composer is done manually by deleting old plugin and uploading the new one.
Revslider can be updated from the Revolution Slider plugin page where you have an Update plugin button to add the new .zip file provided

Yes, I had found the steps to update. Got fixated on the update from WP admin. Did the manual update of KLEO and had some ftp problems while doing VC, resolved them and manually updated. RevSlider update worked as described. Couldn’t get K-Elements to update via Plugins page, ended up downloading and ftping that too. I’m hoping that I didn’t miss something in relation to K-Elements.
