Layout settings theme width question

I just changed my site layout from wide to boxed, but set the site width at 1440px (the default, and widest setting)…though when I measure the content now it seems to be closer 1200px.  I would like the site width to be the same as the Kleo News Magazine demo page.  That seems to be around 1400.  My site seems to be much more narrow that the demo, yet I have it set at the widest setting for a boxed layout (1440px).

 

How do I change/fix this?

Hello, try adding this to style.css of child theme 🙂
