Hi Guys
I posted a ticket previously about the activity wall having some problems loading after a large media upload. At that time we added some CSS which didn’t quite work, and I contacted rtMedia to find out how to configure the number of media items displayed in activity sliders.
Turns out that this was not connected with the media update. It’s just that I was only uploading media posts at that time.
Since then this sometimes happens on the activity wall. Also it happens for example on the masonry blog posts view.
Generally when it’s working, the lazy load triggers as you get to the bottom of previously loaded items. It triggers just before the end of the previous, or just at the beginning of the unloaded items. The symptom of this problem is that it triggers around half-way or at the bottom of the unloaded items. So you are scrolling into quite a lot of white space before the load triggers.
This is a bit of a problem because either people will think that there are no more posts and navigate away. Or, when you get to the very last items on a page, those items are not loading at all because you can’t get low enough on the page to trigger them. This is happening on all browsers.
This is an intermittent problem. Sometimes all areas are working perfectly fine. From time to time this problem will appear.
I cannot be 100% certain, but it SEEMS that this occurs when new items are added to an area, such as a new wall post or a new blog post. Sometimes clearing the cache will resolve the problem, sometimes it will not.
If you have any ideas about this please let me know, thanks 🙂

Your site is in maintenance mode and I am unable to login using credentials provided in another topic.
With regards to your issue, are you referring to the appear animation effect? If so, could you try disabling animations side wide for all devices by going to Theme Options > Miscellaneous > Site-Wide Animations and selecting “Disable on all devices”.
After clearing your site and browser cache, check to see if the issue still occurs, if it no longer happens then I will look into supplying you with some CSS to disable it for the BuddyPress feed only, or – if you like, you can leave that option active.
If that doesn’t appear to be the issue then please let me know and supply some updated admin credentials and I will look into this further for you.
Thanks,
Kieran.
