line icons not appearing in menu

hi,

if i choose the newer line icons (screenshot attached),

they do not appear in menu (screenshot attached).

i tried “before icon”, “just the icon” etc.

other icons work fine.

your very kind assistance in this would be greatly appreciated.

i also tried deactivating plugins with the same result,
so is this unique to my site ?
to my recollection i have observed this problem in the past as well.
i appreciated your assistance in observing the problem but may i ask if there is a possible solution ?
has the developers looked into this ?

yes as you mentioned it seems to be “certain icons”
i believe its mostly the newer line icons (screenshot)

thank you so very much for the fix !!!
reason being is that your new “Profile & Group Icons style” option, offers line icons and i wanted the menu icons to match.
may i please ask how the fix was applied ?
custom css etc in my theme files ?
the site is currently testing and i want to launch soon so if i perform a clean install will i experience the problem again because i am not currently seeing a new update (current was Version 4.2.5 – 21.05.2017) – about 10 days ago.

actually i now realized i have 4.2.6
so i s this a fix in that specific version ?

Hi,

I just activated the development mode in the theme options (Wp-admin -> theme options -> Miscellaneous -> Development mode -> ON )

For some reason, the minification causes that, I’ve tried to reproduce that on my local install multiple times and I cannot reproduce that…

I think it’s something related to the permissions for a script that minifies, can you provide the server error log? not the wp error log (wp_debug)
