Link post format does not seem to be supported.

I am trying to create a post that links to an external article and it appears in the themes functions.php that “link” post format is supported but it does not work. Please advice!

Hello, could you explain a bit more? Do you mean a post but that when you click to see it it redirects you to somewhere else?

I also cant find the URL input box for my link posts. The option for a link post is on the right hand column but where do I add the URL to link to?

My URL is http://bakelife.spoonspace.com/ with the following login details.
