Link (Scroll) to Section

Guys I’m trying to link directly to a section within a page so it scrolls to that position. I’ve found threads that mentioned a rev slider being the solution, but I’m hoping there’s another way. I’d like to simply build a section in the visual composer and be able to link there.

Hi, that is fairly simple.
The link should be like http://pagetitle.com#my-section-on-page and somewhere in the page have an element like

COPY CODE

<h3 id="my-section-on-page">Title for section</h3>
