I want new messages to instantly trigger live notifications. This way you won’t have to refresh the page over and over again to find out if you have a new message.
I was really happy when I found the Buddypress Live Notification plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-live-notification/) but right after I installed it my site became a blank white screen. So I uninstalled it.
When asked, the plugin creator said, “Is there any chance that you are using a theme by BuddyBoss or Kleo? Their theme may cause it.”
Why doesn’t this plugin work? How can I make it work? Or is there a different plugin for live message notifications that I can use instead?
