ParticipantI’m sorry, I don’t follow? Is there a reason I my issue wasn’t addressed? Is this a common issue or topic of another thread? If so, where? I did not find it? Please direct.
Thank you

ParticipantAlready have regenerate thumbnails. And that plugin only works on images uploaded to the media gallery. Which Buddypress user avitars are not. I’m guess it may be a Buddypress or an rtMedia issue? Since the shortcode itself is under Buddypress tab? Or K Elements? I’ve updated all of them and I’ve even deactivated/activated the plugins, changes settings within the shortcode, replaced the image…. all same result. Anything else you can recommend?

ModeratorHi,
Check in the plugin settings, set large for avatar size and specity the size
If not works maybe it’s needed to increase the avatar size from bp-custom.php
Just follow this : https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/guides/customizing-buddypress-avatars/
Just add the next in child theme functions or in bp-custom.php
COPY CODEdefine ( 'BP_AVATAR_THUMB_WIDTH', 250 ); define ( 'BP_AVATAR_THUMB_HEIGHT', 250 );
And replace 250 with your desired value
Cheers

ParticipantExcellent! The one thing I wasn’t doing was plugging in the desired size. Naturally assumed that the blank field would just default to 200×200. But that did the trick. Thanks so much for the help. As you know these things drive a developer crazy!
