Login keeps loading instead of error alert

Hello dear Kleo team!

 

I assume i am not the only user who experiences this problem with the login popup: When I oversee that the user name is required and i enter my registered email address, (+password) and hit “sign in”, the popup says “sending info, please wait…” and doesnt move on. However, it should actually return an error alert that the user name is required.

 

Also,  is there a way to log in with the registered email address?

Hello, have you tried deactivating some plugins? It may be a plugin conflict.
If you have a cache plugin check out the settings of it

Hello Laura,

You wont believe it, but the problem persists with all plugins (except buddypress) deactivated. Do you have any idea?
I have also deactivated the caching plugin (“autoptimize”) in this test.

Hello, did you add any custom function?
Any code or script?
If not, have you contacted your hosting provider about this issue? It may be related to the server.

Hello, it seems that your main issue is related to the plugins you have installed, there are too much and some takes a lot to load.
Attached an image, ignore buddypress media and buddypress, but the rest may affect.
