Hello,
We have been working with Kleo for a few months now and it is a great theme. A couple of days ago the popup login stopped working (this includes both Facebook and the user/password login). If you go to the login page, only the User/passwrod login works.
When using the Facebook login the authentication window opens and closes and nothing happens. It only adds a # at the end of the url. I have searched in the forum for an answer and I found somebody that had the same issue and it was caused by another plugin. I already tried disabling plugins and the problem persists.

We solved the issue. Here is the solution if somebody needs it:
In the latest Kleo update the buddypress-function.php file was updated. If you are using a child theme, if you are not using the file, just delete it and that is it.
Regards
January 9, 2015 at 16:33 #41493sharmstrModeratorbuddypress-functions.php isn’t in the child theme by default. You put it in there at some point. But you do bring up a good point about updates that most people dont think of and that’s comparing any files you copy to the child theme to newly updated files.

January 9, 2015 at 16:36 #41494kajugustavoParticipantThat is true. We put it there, so if you update, make sure to replace the files that you put in the child theme as well.

January 26, 2015 at 14:43 #43448davidvitorinoParticipantHello,
I have a problem where when clicked the “login with facebook button” in login modal and in registration page does nothing.
I have facebook login enabled on theme options, do i have to insert facebook API key also in the options?
When clicked nothing happens, button links to “#”
I do not have the buddypress-function.php on child theme as @kajugustavo mentioned.
Any ideas?
January 26, 2015 at 15:35 #43458sharmstrModeratorIts usually an indication of either a jquery or plugin conflict. What’s easy modal? Try disabling it. If that doesnt work, disable all non kleo tested/approved plugins.
