Hi,
I’m having a problem with the lost password function in the modal window. It gives the error: “Sorry, an error has occurred”
https://www.beezkneezhive.com/
If you click the “member login” link in the top right of this page you get the modal user ID login window and then if you select the “lost password link” you get to the lost password screen.
The WordPress core password reset function on this page works fine:

So it looks to me like it is an issue with the theme.
Can you help me to fix it please?

March 16, 2018 at 15:30 #191972RaduModeratorHi,
Can you please provide to me an email address that it’s associated to an account ? to can test ?
You had translated somehow theme strings ?
Did you had somehow overwritten the kleo_frontend_files function in chidl theme ?
If you are switch to parent theme it works as it should ?
Cheers

Thanks for your reply. It worked when I switched to the parent theme, but continued to fail when I was using the child theme.
I’ve not changed any files with the child theme, but it did make me think that it might be good to update the child theme (I’ve been doing theme updates for the parent theme but I don’t think that updates the child theme).
When I updated the child theme to the most recent version the error has gone so it must have been due to a problem with a new parent theme and a dated child theme – worth knowing it doesn’t work because automatic theme updates only update the parent theme, I think?
Thanks for your help,
Matthew
March 19, 2018 at 16:31 #192314RaduModeratorThe issue comes from a code that isn’t pasted correctly most sure it’s in the child theme
did you remember to paste that code ? Where you had add it ? If you don’t had rewritten files in child you can update the child theme.
Cheers
