ParticipantFor some reason members are not showing up in the search results when they have created a profile…On the admin dashboard it shows several people that have registered but they do not show up anywhere on the front end. BUT if you click on their information on the admin side, it will take you to their profile….
ALSO, on the admin side when you go to Users and look at all the users it shows some with “none” under the membership level, but when you click their information it takes you to their account…I have it set up to where you have to choose an account level before you fully sign up….so I need help to figure out whats going on.

ParticipantI think I have figured it out….when someone signs up on the home page under the the sign up button and under the register box on the homepage it allows someone to go ahead and sign up….I need both buttons to go to membership page where they can select a membership level…
but I dont want them to have to input that information in two times…so what options do i have?

ParticipantALSO….when i go on the Admin section and check out one of the users that didnt sign up through the “FREE Membership for a limited time” I can edit their information…..when I do this I want to change their level from “none” to “FREE”
then underneath it says this “This will not change the subscription at the gateway unless the ‘Cancel’ checkbox is selected below.”
What does that mean?

ParticipantI would still like the answers to the questions above but what I have done is delete the memberships section all together at this point, so that members will not get confused.
But I still do not know why they are not showing up when you go to search for members….as the backend shows seventeen or so, but when you actually search it only shows about 9

ModeratorHello, members wont appear until they login for the first time.
About the details, they do have to enter it again as paid memberships pro and buddypress are different plugins.
To edit the membership of an user you need to go to Users > Edit and scroll to find it, just change it to one and save, no need to do anything more 🙂

Participantquick question….i can go to “activity” on the website and it shows several people that became “registered” members…..when i click on their name it pulls up their profile… but if i go to search for members the profiles do not show up…
so is the reason for this because they have to login in order to show up?

ParticipantI REALLY need your help on this…I have a new user trying to sign up and they are not receiving their email to confirm memberships..
“Hi, I signed up for an account and never received my confirmation email to set my password. When I try logging in and just click forgot password, I also never receive that email. Please help me log in!”
Her profile name is Katie…
