Make new users set a Username

When users login with Facebook, they have their first and last-name as Username.
I want new users that login with Facebook to be able to choose a new Username that is replacing the Facebook name and last name.

Is there a way to do this?

There is no way for them to change a the username once its set. There is no way for them to pick a username during facebook registration.

However, they can change their display name by doing into their profile and edit the Name field.

What is the difference between display name and Username? Can display name be displayed on forum instead of name and lastname?

Username is what they use to log in. That’s why it cant be changed. Its also their @mention name. Changing the “name” field in their profile is equal to changing their display name. Its the name that will be displayed in most parts of the site. The one area that it wont is in their profile header since that displays @username. Do some testing. You’ll see what I’m talking about.

Alright I see what you mean now.
However is there a way to make the user have to change the display name when logging in with Facebook for the first time?

No, not that I know of.
