ParticipantHi, i have set posts to be full width, no sidebar and haveĀ a large featured image covering the entire left to right of the page. I am uploading really large image to cover this space on a computer and so the image does not need to be stretched and lose quality, however when the large picture is uploaded as the featured image it only looks clear on a small computer screen, when I make the browser the full width of the computer the featured image loses sharpness and looks blurred even though the image I uploaded was bigger than this browser size and clear/sharp focus. How do I make the featured image show larger picsĀ so it looks clear even on very big desktops?

ParticipantHi @cybercreative,
You can change the default sizes by going to
Theme Options > Blog > ‘Enable Custom Image sizes’
Set this option to on and you’ll see a new section appear below.
Change ‘Single post & Standard Blog – Image Width*’ and ‘Single post & Standard Blog – Image Height* to whatever is suitable. You’ll also see an option to crop or not.
Hope this helps,
Kieran.

ParticipantDoesn’t work. Whatever the pixel settings, the image will be enlarged to cover the width of the post. If the browser expands, the image expands as well.
