I have selected the Matching Fields in sweetdate -> buddypress
e.g. OLEN and HAEN (which is finnish for I AM and LOOKING FOR)
I am also using the Age Range Field. It shows up correctly and works when searching.
But the matching fields show up wrong (check pic) in the front page and don’t find any result.
Was working before, but after the update, they stopped working.
Please help.

The problem is with the matching fields.
If I have the matching fields turned selected.
and I try to searh for Males looking for Women, it doesn’t give me any results or even If I try to search Women who are looking for men.If I clear the matching fields in the sweetdate -> buddypress, the search works, but it doesn’t work correctly. It is like a normal search then.

Hello, if you have any function that hides admin from members directory you should test with a new user, all of the users need to have I am a and Looking for filled in order to work

I haven’t added anything, because it worked like a charm when I just installed the wordpress + sweetdate theme.
But after the update, it stopped working.
What function is missing from child theme? Please try to fix if possible? or make a simple tutorial on how to fix this.

The fields values must be the same in both fields so the I am a / Looking for a matching to work since the algorithm looks for a field value in the other field. So you need to have the same values on the fields
right now you have:
Mies and Nainen
Miesta and Naistaso both should have like
Miesta and Naista

So it wasn’t the update, it was my fault. I didn’t even realize I made that small change after the update.

I have different I am a / Looking for. I created website for organization and private peoples (cooperation system). So, “I am a” have 2 options – “PoszukujÄ…cym” and “KooperatywÄ…”, but “Looking for” looks “Kooperatywy” and “KooperantĂłw”. Of course, search resoult dosen’t work. How can I change value of the filedsto make it work ? It is possible ? It’s very important for me 🙂

BartekHi, it the values from the I am a / Looking for fields are different the matching algorithm won’t work unfortunately.
