media count not showing

After users have uploaded images to the media area of rtmedia the count does not change. come users it does some it does not. moderation is on and this is happening even if they have been approved and are set to public or friends or private it does not show current count.

Attached is a photo to show what i mean this user has 19 photos all set to public and still does not show the amount correctly. we have tested in albums and not in albums and still no luck.
