Media size

I’m not sure if I talked about this before. But for some reason when it comes to using the Buddypress theme, i feel like my images are WAY TOO BIG. I want to have an image size that the entire abides by when they upload an image, no matter what size the image just so happen to be.

Like instagram has a default image size of 1080×1080. All images on the site show as this size no matter what. I want that to happen on my site. I currently use rtmedia as my default media player, how can I make sure that whatever images are uploaded are uploaded as the size I want universally across my site?

Rt media image sizes can be adjusted from wp-admin -> rtmedia -> settings -> Media Sizes ->

IF the sizes that you set there are not applying you should regenerate those using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/
