    Hi there

    For some reason the members counter and members page isn’t showing all the members.

    I added this code to my functions.php file and it didn’t make a difference

    COPY CODE
    add_action(‘bp_core_activated_user’, ‘kleo_add_member_activity’);
    function kleo_add_member_activity($user_id, $key, $user )
    {
    add_user_meta( $user_id, ‘last_activity’, date(“Y-m-d H:i:s”));
    }

    its showing me 156 members in the backed and only 12 in the frontend, since i have added that code over 20 users have signed up but the number doesn’t change

    I have disabled all plugins not related to the theme and still cant resolve this issue. please advise. thanks

    Hello, go to Tools > Buddypress, then check all the options and save them, let me know if it works 🙂

    Hi Laura

    Sorry for the late reply.

    OK i did what you said and some of the members started showing, but still more than half aren’t. The counter went up from 28 – 50 – 58, its really weird, when i use the data repair tool sometimes the members go up sometimes they dont also when i refresh the homepage it starts showing me members online in the counter when seconds ago there where non, but that only shows when i use the repair tool.

    Also i think a lot of those members are spam registration, not to concerned about that now, but is there a way to prevent that in the future.

    One more thing, users are completely missing the options under the profile settings like ( Myself Summary, Looking for, Lifestyle, Physical ) so they not filling them out, is there a way to make them more visible or easily accessible to the user. Thanks

    Hello, i suggest a plugin called ithemes security or another anti spam plugin for wordpress, those spammers, dont delete them for now but mark them as spam if their email ends in something like ogremail, trashmail, or something similar. So they cannot post spam activities etc..
    The repair tool counts the users with their last activity, if some didnt do nothing, wont count.
    Also profile tabs of buddypress are made like that, the structure is from buddypress plugin
