Member search

Hi, I have no other plugins for searching.

When I search on the members page it doesn’t seem very intuitive; the return key doesn’t do anything, and when trying to click the search icon, the search field expands and retracts. Perhaps some sort of loading icon to let us know it’s parsing the members?

My question is sorting them; I created an extra profile field with a checkbox for ‘Male’ and ‘Female’. So far, the ‘female’ search seems to be exclusively female, but ‘male’ is including ‘female’.

Male is included in female because the word “male” is part of the word “female”. That is the way the search works by default.

Several people using Kleo are using https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-search/ to do x-profile data searches.
