Hi,
the member search is not working for gender. Any ideas what the issue could be?
Is there a way to put more criteria than age and gender into the search filters?
Thank you
Georg
October 14, 2015 at 01:15 #82161LauraModeratorHello, make sure you setup the gender fields to I am a and Looking for in the settings found at Sweetdate > Buddypress
There you will also see the search form fields so you can check which ones will showHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

October 17, 2015 at 02:00 #82887LauraModeratorHello, i see the issue, its because of the man and woman field
In i am a, you have 2 options, man and woman
So in looking for a, you should have THE SAME options (same name) of i am a, so the script can work correctlyHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer

October 26, 2015 at 12:24 #84221pagenstedtParticipantSorry, I did not get it.
Can you please explain in more detail what I have to change.
Or if you like, just change in my admin what is needed.
Thank you
GeorgOctober 28, 2015 at 00:17 #84543LauraModeratorHello, sorry, here is a more explained answer 🙂
The complementary fields work by looking for the opposite, if a man selects looking for women and i am man
The script will look for the opposite, women that look for men.So the I am a and Looking for fields should have the same values
An example:
I am a:
– Woman
– Man
Looking for a:
– Woman
– ManHi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionLaura Solanes - Graphic Designer and Web Designer
