Members cant activate membership

Members cant activate membership when they recieve erification link

 

Paying members cant send and recieve messages

Problems started with latest update of buddypress

Tried this solution but did not help

Hello, try to just update buddypress and check the activation issue again
And also, at the activation email, the URL of the page has the code, does it work if you enter it?
the code starts website.com/activate/CODE IS HERE

If I update buddypress it breaks the site

Yes if i copy the code in the mail an activate it works but new members does not understand that

Can you do some error search why the site is breaking on latest update

Hi,

In our latest theme version we had fixed that so this it’s the file from our theme for activation.php

Please replace this file content : wp-content/themes/sweetdate/registration/activate.php

With the content of this one : https://pastebin.com/raw/SpzuCpaY

It will auto-populate the input with the key and user should press only activate.

Buddypress in version 3.1 had fixed that!

So using latest buddypress 3.1 with latest sweetdate should be ok!

I have already tried with latest update for the theme and buddypress but it does not work, it also breaks the site so members cant see their profiles pages, gets all white

you have the admin login so login and try to update the plugins and see what happends

Hi,

The white page may be caused by the child theme so when you perform update for theme and all plugins as it should and you have whitepage de-activate child theme check if it works.

It works when i deactivate child theme and also the activation code works now, many thnks

Should I activate the child team again or just leave it as it is

Another question, is there any code or settings for setting so nonpaying members cant recieve messages from paying members?

I have searched the forum but cant find such a code or setting

Hi,

In our latest theme version we had fixed that so if you had overwritten the activation template in child in the past you will have to re-do it.

You should have buddypress and theme updated to latest verision then do the next

Please replace this file content : wp-content/themes/kleo-child/registration/activate.php

With the content of this one : wp-content/themes/kleo-child/registration/activate.php

It will auto-populate the input with the key and user should press only activate.

So using latest buddypress 3.1 with latest kleo should be ok!
